DESERT FOREST NUTRITIONALS
A husband and wife team, Kristina and Kazuhiko Okuda, established Desert Forest Nutritionals in 2001, in Fountain Hills, Arizona. Kristina L. Okuda, the president of Desert Forest Nutritionals, earned an MBA in International Business and a BA in Advertising. She is the founder of Peace Bird Society USA, a non-profit organization providing education, humanitarian relief and rehabilitation to destitute and disabled children around the world. She raised funds to support an orphanage and a hospital clinic project focused on alternative therapies.
Mrs. Okuda lived in Brazil for over twenty years. She acquired knowledge of various natural medicinal therapies and has been studying AbM mushrooms for the past five years. The vast untapped expanses of Brazil are rich in plants and fungi and their medicinal properties have been the focus of extensive research for many years. In their effort to seek the most effective of natural medicinal therapies offered in Brazil, Kristina and Kaz decided to build a company that would offer only the purest and unaltered products, organically grown using international Good Manufacturing Practices Standards.
The rainforests today are only a semblance of what they used to be only a few decades ago. Desert Forest Nutritionals along with non-profit organizations strongly support the preservation efforts of these highly valuable natural resources, which are so vital in maintaining the delicate balance of the global ecosystems.
